Silent Hill F Fake Beta Scams Are Starting to Circulate Online

April 21, 2025 by Dennis Patrick

Konami issues a warning to fans.

There is a lot of attention right now on Silent Hill. After Konami unveiled a few years ago that they were bringing this IP back into the limelight, fans can’t wait for some new games to arrive. Fortunately, we are not kept in the dark about this next game installment. After the incredibly successful Silent Hill 2 remake, we know that Silent Hill F is the new game set to arrive in the marketplace. It’s this installment that developers hope to continue Bloober Team’s success with Silent Hill 2 and deliver another psychological, terrifying experience.

Silent Hill F is coming from developers NeoBard Entertainment, and unfortunately, we don’t have a release date yet. It wasn’t long ago that we got a new deep dive into the game, where we learned that we would be tossed into a fictional Japanese town in the 1960s. While we can’t wait to check this experience out, Konami now has a warning for fans.

Don’t be fooled; some fans might be convinced they can check out the game early. A slew of fake beta invites and social media posts about a Silent Hill F test are flooding the web. There are instances where betas can be available before a video game drops. For instance, EA is doing this with the next Battlefield game. Players are asked to join in and test the game out so they can ensure a successful release.

However, that’s not happening with Silent Hill F. Taking to the official Japanese Silent Hill X account, Konami is alerting fans that these beta invites are fake and only used to steal your personal information. So, be cautious and avoid these invites that are being shared online.

This is also not the only game lately to have a slew of fake beta invites going out online. CD Projekt Red also just warned fans that beta invite scams were popping up online for their upcoming game, The Witcher 4. So it’s best to stay vigilant and skeptical about some of these offers.
