If you are planning to play some PS3 games online tomorrow, think again; the PlayStation Network is going to be down all day for 'significant maintenance' according to PlayStation Corporate Communications and Social Media Director Patrick Seybold. All PSN services will be down from about 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Pacific time.
That means no playing games online, no buying things on the PlayStation store, access PlayStation Home, change any account details, sync your trophies (gasp!) or even, perhaps most importantly, vote on the games for the PSN Gamer's Choice Awards. If you want to do any of these things, it would be wise to do them today…or, you know, wait until Friday. Probably not a huge deal for many people.
I can imagine the frustration one would feel if they went out and bought a Vita tomorrow, expecting to download some hot games from the PSN store or set up their account and being unable to do so. Consider yourself informed!
