Fortnite is one behemoth of a battle royale game. It’s still heavily enjoyed today, years after it was released. However, one way developers managed to keep players attached to the game was by bringing over crossovers. A ton of different IPs have managed to show up in the game, and we might know which will come next. A new report from an industry insider claims that we might see King of the Hill show up next.
That’s right, the king of propane might be dropping into this battle royale next. This information comes from an industry insider for Fortnite, FNBRintel. Taking it to X, the account simply messaged out that Hank Hill was coming to the game soon. Of course, we don’t know if any other characters from this show are also potentially popping up.
Still, it’s an exciting move if you enjoyed the show. Overall, the series focused on the Hill family and their friends. Set in Texas, Hank Hill is a propane salesman, which doesn’t necessarily sound like it would be a hit series. Of course, it sparked a real fandom, with the series running for a total of thirteen seasons. Not bad for a premise like the life of a propane salesman, right?
Of course, the series ended in 2009. But there might be a reason we are suddenly seeing a crossover. This series had been confirmed to receive a revival, with fans getting another season set years later. We’re still waiting to see when the show will get its season revival, but this new marketing crossover might mean an announcement is coming sooner rather than later.
At any rate, we’re still waiting to see if this Fortnite crossover gets confirmation. Likewise, we’ll be keen to see who jumps over into the game from this animated series.
