PlayStation Unveils A New Midnight Black Collection of PS5 Accessories

If you’re fond of the Midnight Black colorway from some of the select PlayStation accessories, get ready as another colorway collection is being introduced into the marketplace. Sony has officially rolled out the red carpet for this colorway on four more accessories, all dropping into the market next month. Fortunately, you can pre-order the accessories this month to ensure you get the item right when it lands.

This is not a new colorway. Instead, a few items from Sony already feature this Midnight Black aesthetic. You’ll find that there are already Midnight Black PlayStation 5 console covers along with a Midnight Black DualSense wireless controller. However, you can soon add to that collection with the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge wireless controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds.

As expected, Sony detailed that each will feature the Midnight Black color, but there will be various accents, from buttons to the PlayStation logo. You’ll also find a Midnight Black charging case for the Pulse Explore earbuds, a charging hanger for the Pulse Elite headset, and a carrying case for the DualSense Edge controller. What won’t feature a Midnight Black color option is the carrying case for the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, as that’s noted to be a grey felt.

If you’re interested in any of these accessories, you’ll find that the new PS5 Midnight Black collection will drop on February 20, 2025. Fortunately, you can secure your purchase with a pre-order, which will begin on January 16, 2025, at 10 AM local time through the official PlayStation website or participating retailers.
