It looks like we have our first official Switch 2 peripheral.
As reported by Universo Nintendo, a video game peripheral company called Satisfye has introduced a new product called the ZenGrip 2. Notably, they advertise this grip to be ‘made for next gen console.’
As you may imagine, the ZenGrip already exists, and it’s a cleverly designed peripheral for the Switch. This grip gives players a lower point of contact, to adjust for the lower position of the right analog stick.
Many of the ZenGrip’s features are also on the ZenGrip 2, but again, it’s advertised that this newer grip is for a ‘next-gen console.”
Satisfye has provided this product description of the ZenGrip 2:
“Introducing the All-new ZenGrip 2 Next-Gen Console

The ZenGrip 2 is available for pre-order at a price of $ 49.99. We imagine it won’t be that hard to get this peripheral when the console will have been released, but it’s certainly interesting that pre-orders are out now.
If I was working at Nintendo of America, I would consider giving Satisfye a warning, if not worse. If the company just about skirted the line from confirming the Switch 2 before Nintendo did, it is way too close to that line.
Given the ZenGrip 2 looks nearly identical to the ZenGrip, it supports the theory that the Switch 2 is really not much more than a wider Switch with more powerful hardware. Just last week, we saw several store listings for Switch 2 peripherals from Alibaba.
Did those Alibaba venders embolden Satisfye into revealing their products? Or did Nintendo secretly allow them to reveal their products, with conditions that determined how they would refer to them?
But we already know that the Switch 2’s announcement and launch is imminent. It seems that in the meantime, it seems that we’ll keep getting unofficial teasers like this from entities that aren’t Nintendo.
