A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is nearing its release. If you were a fan of the movie franchise, then this game might have already been on your radar. It’s another storyline set in this horror universe, which gives you a chance to interact in a world filled with deadly alien creatures. However, a new feature was recently added to the game ahead of its launch, which might make it even more difficult for you to survive.
I’m sure you are already familiar with the IP. However, if this one slipped by, then we can offer a little insight. Overall, the world was invaded by these extraterrestrial creatures. These beasts are deadly, but what makes them even more terrifying is that they can navigate towards their prey by sound. Humanity is on edge and must live in silence if they wish to avoid an untimely gruesome death.
With A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, we will get tossed into this world as we step into the role of a female college student survivor named Alex Taylor. Alex and her boyfriend are forced to survive against these alien creatures, but the gameplay could get a little more tense if you activate the microphone feature.
Thanks to a report from Insider Gaming, we’re learning that when this feature is turned on, your microphone will pick up any noise, giving your location away to these deadly beasts. So don’t make a sound if a jumpscare comes up; otherwise, it could spell disaster for Alex. Of course, this feature can be disabled if you would rather not deal with keeping a quiet room.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will be released on October 17, 2024. When the game is released, you will be able to pick up a copy for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
