The developers at Fatshark have announced the release of three new levels for Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, their Left 4 Dead-esque co-op game set in the Warhammer universe.
Like previously released DLC maps for the game, the three new maps will have to be purchased, but only the host player will have to own them for others to join in.
In the new content, players will take to the abandoned Castle Drachenfels that’s littered with a host of deadly traps, which they’ll have to contend with as they make their way through its innards. These dungeons will be in pitch darkness, so players will have to make use of torches to navigate their way through the warrens as they make their way to the Skaven at Summoner’s Peak.
The Drachenfels DLC will release on May 26 with the following maps:
- Castle Drachenfels – Walk through the ancient rooms of Castle Drachenfels, covered in the blood and bones of the past.
- Summoner’s Peak – Foil the Skaven’s plan by destroying the Nurgle portals and put a halt to their reinforcements.
- The Dungeons – Stumble your way through the dark and dingy dungeon of Drachenfels, avoiding traps and using torches to light your way through the darkness.
Be sure to check out our guides for the game if you’ve yet to play it and need a leg up on strategy.
