In addition to announcing the pre-order incentives for Darksiders II, THQ has released a host of new screenshots for the game, all of which depict Death at his meanest.
Death, who wields two scythes, can be seen speaking to a Maker in one of the screenshots. The Maker, a hammer wielding guy, appears to play a role in the sequel to Darksiders. Ulthane, a Maker, aided War in the first game by forging for him the Armageddon Blade. According to the lore of Darksiders, the Makers created the White City, and some cities in Hell.
Death can also be seen riding his horse and wielding two different types of scythes.
Darksiders II is set for release on June 26 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
