From the developers at Streum On Studio comes another Warhammer 40,000 universe video game entry. Space Hulk: Deathwing is a first person shooter with tactical elements mixed into it. Thanks to Unreal Engine 4, it’ll definitely deliver on immersive gameplay.

You watch it yet? After picking up your jaw, let’s go over the gameplay action we just saw unfold.
The “Olethros” Space Hulk ship that your squad will explore seemed to be on a truly epic level of detail. Not only does the map seem huge, but the video stated that they’re going to be accurate to the universe’s lore. That’s certainly quite a challenge.
Localized damage is definitely going to change the tone of combat strategies. People will be super focused on protecting their hands as much as possible, if they don’t want to lose the ability to use weapons.
Space Hulk: Deathwing has been in development for a few years now, with posts on their social media dating back as far as September 2013. So just in case you forgot what the game is about, here’s a refresher.
You take on the role of a Space Marine Terminator, and your Deathwing squad company lands on a Space Hulk for a mission. While exploring the vast ship, you manage to anger the local Genestealers occupying the vessel. Beating missions unlocks new skills, equipment, and abilities.
Given the intensity, the 4-player Co-op mode will probably be the go to option for people who want to get the most out of this game.
The game will come out for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You’ll be able to get your hands on Space Hulk: Deathwing sometime this year. No official release date beyond “2016” is known at the moment.
