Ubisoft has just announced that Ghost Recon Online, a PC-exclusive game, is heading into its closed beta period on March 5.
Developed at Ubisoft Singapore, Ghost Recon Online brings the Ghost Recon franchise into a dedicated multiplayer environment, and is expected to go head to head in competition with Valve’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
This free-to-play online game allows players to choose between three different classes of Ghost, customize their weapons, and arm them to the teeth in cutting-edge military technology while participating in online battles.
Ubisoft has posted a video containing an overview of the game’s ghost classes to accompany the beta announcement.
Interested players are encouraged to sign up for the beta at the game’s official site, which is currently accepting submissions.
