Book of Demons Announced As Xbox One Console Exclusive

April 21, 2016 by Dennis Patrick

Book of Demons announced as a Xbox One console exclusive.

Book of Demons was originally announced as a hack-and-slash adventure game that will be released on the PC platform. Today, through a press release, Thing Trunk has announced that the video game will also see a console exclusive release for the Xbox One. If this is your first time hearing about Book of Demons then keep on reading!

As mentioned, Book of Demons is a video game being developed by Thing Trunk as their first title within their Return 2 Games, a series that is meant to bring out seven video games from the classic PC gaming era.

Overall, the game follows a party of three characters on what will a hilarious, but epic journey. The goal is simple, just defend the entire world from ultimate evil, how hard can it be?

“Book of Demons puts players in charge of one of 3 characters taking part in an epic, but a humorous quest to save Paperverse from total destruction. While the game facilitates the player in every possible way, the quest itself surely is not a piece of cake. To defend the world from ultimate devilry, players will have to explore procedurally generated dungeons, confront over 70 monster species and fight a brigade of evil bosses, including the nasty Archdemon. If someone wants to hang out in the catacombs a bit longer, well, of course, he can – there’s a Freeplay mode where players can master their favorite quests and rise to the challenge by completing the game on higher difficulty levels.”

Joking aside, the game does come packed with some pretty interesting options such as giving players the option to adjust the amount of time they have available to enjoy and play a campaign.

Within Book of Demons, players can adjust the length of quests so if they only have five minutes to kill then they can get through an entire campaign quest.

So far Book of Demons doesn’t have a release date quite yet though the game will be priced at $19.99 for both the PC and Xbox One.
