UPDATE
What do you think of all these new looks into the game? Does it make you even more excited for it? Let us know below!
ORIGINAL STORY
The gaming bonanza we’re going through in January and February will be special. Plenty of top-tier games are coming, and then, on the last day of February, the cavalcade will come to its epic conclusion with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The sequel in the “remake saga” from Square Enix has made many promises and teased many vital moments that gamers will enjoy or potentially cry over. But many will wonder, “What will Sephiroth do in the sequel?” In a special mini-trailer, they teased just that and highlighted many new scenes in the game!
As you can see below, the mini-trailer highlights the dangers of Sephiroth and how his past, present, and future will come into focus due to the next game’s plot. From his past with Zack Fair to his upcoming clashes with Cloud Strife, all will be revealed, whether gamers want to see certain parts or not. Longtime fans will recognize key moments and scenes from the trailer, so check it out so you can be even more hyped for the game:
But wait! That’s not the only thing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has to show off! Square Enix decided to take some time to recreate some key pieces of art from the original game and show them in a new light! For example, they have posted a beautiful picture of everyone’s favorite ninja: Yuffie!
Or how about a picture of Cait Sith having fun with his favorite Moogle?
Still not enough for you? Well, Square Enix dropped another video highlighting the power of their new fast travel system. Do recall that in the sequel, you’ll have many new places to go to, so simply riding a special “Chocobo service” won’t be enough to get around. As you’ll see below, you’ll just need to bring up the mini-map, go to the location on the map you want to fast travel to, and you’ll be there within a few seconds. It might not be as fast as a certain web-slinging title, but at least there are no loading screens!
Plus, again, you’ll see MUCH more from the world of Gaia in the title, so there’s more area to travel than those webheads had to in New York City.
Either way, the “remake saga” is headed in the right direction, and gamers will have much to do when the title arrives on PS5 on February 29th. Let’s hope you get to survive the experience.
