The current season of Diablo III ends tomorrow on April 15. With its ending, the new season is set to begin and Blizzard will be releasing a new patch for the game to bring the game up to version 2.4.1. The new update will include a wide array of new pets, wings, and an assortment of weapons and armor in addition to gameplay changes.
The developers have revealed that they are adding a new type of goblin who, when defeated, will drop a pet for players, including a walking hand, a young boy, and a miniature goatman. Each time you kill the goblin, you’ll get a new type of pet that you’ve yet to collect so it won’t be too difficult to collect them all—like Pokemon.
The patch is also adding new transmogs that appear as common quality items, including scythes. These new items will not be available as legendaries, and can be found from the corpse of just about any named monster or rare chest.
There are of course more hard-to-get rewards that come in the form of a rainbow portrait frame and dark eagle wings. Much like this season’s jade wings, these vanity unlocks will require quite a bit of effort on your part.
The patch is currently on the Player Test Realms if you’d like to check out the new items ahead of its official release.
You can read at the other changes on the PTR test notes.
