The next batch of Battlefield 3 DLC could be revealed as soon as next week.
During a Q&A session following EA's conference call to investors last night, VP of investor relations Peter Ausnit touched on the company's DLC strategy with major titles, indicating that a significant Battlefield announcement was on the way.
"We've got plans for all of our major franchises to turn them into more of as we're seeing with FIFA and with Battlefield more as games for service that have constant flow of downloadable content," Ausnit said. "You're going to hear some announcements from us on Battlefield actually as early as next week in an event we've got in New York."
We haven't heard anything official about DICE's future DLC plans for Battlefield 3 since Back to Karkand launched in December, but rumor has it that the next batch of maps will be set in major cities across the U.S., including New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.
