DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront is set to have four expansions released and so far only one of the four DLC packs is available for gamers to purchase. Today the development team behind the Battlefront video game has revealed what gamers can expect with not only the upcoming paid DLC pack known as Bespin but the free content that is planned in the near future.
So far only the Outer Rim expansion has released for Star Wars Battlefront which granted players with two new playable characters, that being Greedo and Niem Nunb. With the upcoming Bespin DLC gamers will unlock Cloud City filled with AT-ATs, Fighter Squadrons, and even a carbonite chamber.
Additionally, Bespin will also give players with new weapons, Star Cards, a brand new game mode, along with two new iconic characters, Lando Calrissian and bounty hunter Dengar. Besides the upcoming paid DLC, DICE does have plans for free content to its players.
Marked as free for all players, Star Wars Battlefront will come equipped with more double score weekends, new community missions, special login events, new Hutt Contracts, along with other new surprises for gamers some of which will come this May 4th, 2016, in celebration of Star Wars day.
Beyond the release of the Bespin DLC, DICE announced the third expansion will be known as the Death Star expansion. So far, the fourth expansion has yet to be revealed along with the upcoming new playable characters.
