There is plenty of hype built up around Grand Theft Auto VI. The video game is currently in the works. However, that’s just about all we know officially. Rockstar Games has been keeping a tight seal on what they have planned for the next thrilling installment. However, since we have waited years on the game now, it’s left fans digging through anything Rockstar Games released in hopes of uncovering news regarding Grand Theft Auto VI. Today, fans are convinced that a recent post on X is a hint at the next Grand Theft Auto game.
All we know so far about Grand Theft Auto VI officially is that it’s in development. If it wasn’t for a slew of leaks that emerged online, we wouldn’t have anything to go off of. Instead, the leaks of gameplay footage from an early build highlight dual protagonists and even assets that point toward Vice City. So, while we might be returning to Vice City, just when that will happen is a mystery. An official reveal trailer has yet to be released, and as mentioned, fans are looking over any and all content posted by Rockstar Games that might clue in details for the next game and we might have something with the latest posting on Rockstar Game’s X account.
A new X post that highlights content coming to Grand Theft Auto Online is taken in front of a giant sign with “VI” present in the background. Most fans on Reddit are saying this image capture was intentional. If that’s the case, this might be a post to start the hype train for an actual reveal for the next game. However, when that will be is very much a mystery. We constantly see rumors flood the internet regarding what’s next for Grand Theft Auto and when we will see an announcement trailer.
Others have been more keen on knowing if this next game installment will break records. In fact, one of the previous stars of Grand Theft Auto V commented on how Grand Theft Auto VI will blow those numbers from Grand Theft Auto V out of the water. At any rate, it’s a waiting game right now to see what’s in store for this fan-favorite video game franchise. For now, you can continue to find new content being added for Grand Theft Auto Online, such as the previous post today from Rockstar Games highlighting the Moon Festival.
