Namco Bandai's upcoming third-person shooter Inversion has been delayed to "polish several key aspects."
According to an interview with GameSpot, the publisher is delaying the game's release—originally slated for February 7—to allow for additional development on the title.
In Inversion, players take on the role of Davis Russel, an cop who finds himself thrust into war when his city is invaded by aliens. On a quest to find his daughter, Russel must master the fundamental forces of gravity and save the world.
Developed by Saber Interactive, Inversion boasts physics-defying gravity mechanics, and was originally planned for a late 2010 release on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
