Vigil Games has a pretty clear idea of who Death is. The protagonist of Darksiders 2, Death is enigmatic, lethal, and intimidating.
The studio has since put out a nice new trailer to introduce the character, whom the player will play in the upcoming game. The trailer shows off Death's lingering presence throughout all the ages of man and his role throughout history.
A bonehunter on a pale horse, Death has left his mark and will be the last face anyone sees in the game. Death is often depicted as a giant hooded man wielding a scythe. In Darksiders 2, Death takes off his robe, but keeps his scythe sharpened.
Darksiders 2 comes out in 2012.
