Kinect game Happy Action Theatre contains some of the most unusual mini-games I've seen, so difficult to explain that I'm not even going to try. All I know is that I'm a little bit worried that it might be some sort of hypnotic induction into a cult. Bright lights, dancing, sixties-inspired backgrounds, strange dogs and music that can only be described as "hyper;" it's all brought together into one rather unique title.
Double Fine, the company behind Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Stacking and Costume Quest, have announced that the title will be available for download from next month, just be sure not to inhale. Outside of the unusual delivery, Happy Action Theatre is probably a fairly standard affair for Kinect, in which you must make shapes or dance to a beat, while your friends do the exact same thing. It'll be available for the low, low price of 800 points and probably offers as much as many full retail games.
