Star Wars fans are getting a new thrilling video game installment this month. Respawn Entertainment is preparing to drop Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this month. But that doesn’t mean some new bits of information still make their way out into the public. While the main game is set to launch later this month, several publications were given access to a preview build of the title. As a result, these editorials and previews are starting to hit the web, and we’re getting a bit more insight into what is to come within the game. Thanks to one particular Twitter account, we have a nice breakdown of confirmed features because of the preview builds.
Twitter user Okami Games has recently taken to Twitter and alerted their followers of all the different confirmed features for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This installment will have plenty of content packed within it. In fact, we just reported on a recent VGC interview with Respawn Entertainment which highlighted that each department had a bucket list of features to implement. It seems that there just wasn’t enough time to bring these features into the first game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. So that means we’re getting plenty of new exciting content features with this sequel.
If you were looking to give Cal a bit more personality and threads to your liking, then you’re in luck. It seems that customization will play a bigger role in this game installment, with players having the option to tweak Cal’s lightsaber, his clothes, and even his hairstyle. Furthermore, this is a game that takes place well after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, so you can expect Cal to learn some new force abilities and even some new techniques with the inclusion of combat stances.
Players should also get ready to explore as several planets, a semi-open-world, and side quests will be available. So get comfortable in this game, as it might mean spending a bit more time within this installment than what we received in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. For instance, there are said to be Jedi Chamber Rooms to uncover that will play a bit like the shrines you’d come across in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
At any rate, we can dive into this game and all the content the developers added to it later this month. Currently, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to launch on April 28, 2023. When the game does launch into the marketplace, you’ll find the title available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. In the meantime, you can check out the story trailer for the game in the video we have embedded above.
