Bethesda has revealed precisely when gamers will be able to enjoy Fallout 4’s first official DLC, Automatron. The new DLC is set to add a host of new content into the game, including the ability to construct your very own robot companion with parts salvaged from other robots.
The DLC is set to unlock across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC platforms on the same day without any exclusivity-related delays, unlike Skyrim.
The developer released a new screenshot for the DLC, which you can see above. Both robots appear to be equipped with sawblades and the one on the left even has lasers for eyes. An unfortunate angle makes it appear as if the robot on the left has a sawblade for a butt—but upon closer inspection, that appears to be its arm.
Here’s when you can play:
- Xbox One: Midnight EST (North America); midnight locally (Europe).
- PS4: Midnight locally (Europe); by 1 PM EST (North America)
- PC: Midnight EST (North America); midnight locally (Europe)
Automatron is available as part of the game’s DLC season pass, which was sold at a much lower price prior to March. It’s now available for $50 and includes at least $60 worth of DLC. More expansions will be released in April and May, alongside the release of the game’s modding tools.
We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop with the new content as it becomes available. Keep track of more Fallout 4 updates with our tag.
