After noticing other players have been creating games focusing on gameplay through one lane, Blizzard Entertainment has decided to give Heroes of the Storm a unique battleground with one lane called Lost Cavern. This will have players battling it out on a single-lane team fight along with some other aspects to keep gameplay exciting and very active.
The upcoming battleground for Heroes of the Storm, Lost Cavern, will be releasing onto the game in the next big patch. As mentioned, Blizzard Entertainment decided to create this particular one-lane map simply after noticing other custom games focusing on single lane games. However, there are some subtle differences that will come packed with Lost Cavern such as the removal of Hearthstones and Starting Area heals. This was done in order to keep players from having to fall back during a fight.
Additionally, Lost Cavern will have Regeneration Orb spawns and brush strategically placed around the lane in hopes to keep gamers playing consistently and strategically. This map is also said to be used as a way to experiment and a way to try new strategy methods within the game.
Although, one aspect that is worth noting about this upcoming Battleground is that Lost Cavern will only be available for custom games when it releases. In order to enjoy the game map, gamers will have to create a custom lobby in which friends or other gamers online can freely join in.
