As a cosplayer, part of my hobby involves dabbling in prop construction. Usually if you’re making a weapon, you’ll turn to craft foam, wood or fibreglass as a material. This can, however, be costly, difficult, and if you’re allergic to fibreglass like I am, itchy. Firebrand creations is way ahead of you though, and has crafted a Snub Pistol entirely out of paper.
Firebrand, who is some kind of paper craft wizard, has constructed Marcus Fenix’s famous pistol using just paper, glue, some foam stuffing for support, some LEDs and a lot of patience. And considering what most of my paper craft ends up like (see: crinkled up ball of paper and glue,) he’s not kidding about the patience.
This isn’t the first time Firebrand has created something completely awesome from paper. He’s previously constructed a Fallout Laser Pistol using the same technique, as well as other goodies like a Ghost Busters Trap.
I wonder if his hands are covered in paper cuts all the time.
