I'm writing this post not just to alert our readers to the fact that the PlayStation Vita has had a tiny update, instead I'm writing it because I'm absolutely amazed that it's already at version 1.52. The minor update does actually serve an important purpose, with the 1.51 update some users were reporting that the 3G version of the handheld wasn't recognising the sim card.
That has now been fixed apparently, good news for people who found themselves without the ability to go online after updating the last time. The 1.51 update apparently fixed some game "progress" issues which caused some games, specifically Dynasty Warriors Next, to crash whilst playing. I just find it amazing that we're so close to a 2.0 update as well, presumably something that offers what Sony considers important features.
The 1.52 update is the third update to be released since the console's release last month and will likely come pre-loaded when it's released in the west.
