Dead Space might not have made it out last year in time for the spooky Halloween season, but it will be one of the first big horror games we play this year. Before January wraps up, we’ll finally have our hands on Dead Space’s remake from Motive Studios’ development team. While we’re just over a week before the Dead Space remake launches into the marketplace, developers continue highlighting what players can expect. Recently, the development team opted to finally highlight the system requirements your PC needs to meet in order to run the game properly. Additionally, the developers highlighted what console players could expect in terms of performance options.

For starters, let’s highlight the PC system requirements. Dead Space is a next-generation console release, so you might need to ensure your PC specs will match up. Much like other PC game releases, the PC system requirements will highlight both minimum and recommended system requirements, which you can check out below.

Dead Space 2023 Remake Minimum PC System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit+
  • Processor: Ryzen 5 2600x, Core i5 8600
  • Graphics: AMD RX 5700, GTX 1070
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Direct X: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available Space

Dead Space 2023 Remake Recommended PC System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit+
  • Processor: Ryzen 5 5600x, Core i5 11600K
  • Graphics: Radeaon RX 6700 XT, Geforce RTX 2070
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Direct X: Version 12
  • Storage: 50 GB available Space

The announcement came via Twitter, and it didn’t highlight how exactly the gameplay would react to those two sets of PC requirements. But again, you also have next-generation console platforms that can run the game. If you opt to play this game on the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, you will have two performance mods. According to the official Dead Space Twitter account, there are two presets available for players to decide on.

Dead Space Graphics Performance Modes

  • Quality: 30 FPS at 4K resolution, including ray-tracing
  • Performance: 60 FPS with 2K resolution, not including ray-tracing.

Again, players can expect Dead Space to hit the marketplace on January 27, 2023. When the game does release, you’ll find it available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 platforms. In the meantime, you can check out a game trailer for the title in the video we have embedded above.
