Some intrepid and determined die-hard fans of Tom Clancy’s The Division have recently read through the game’s code , finding all sorts of new little details to share, including the names for boss fights and missions.
Missions are named in the code by location. You will fight across landmarks and more generically named areas. The latter may also be based on real-life locations, but simply given generic names for brevity and because these aren’t particularly famous locations.
Named locations for missions include the Lexington Armory, UN Building, Macy’s, Madison Square Garden, Queens Tunnel, Times Square, Port Authority, Grand Central, Stuy Town, and both Park Avenue and Dyer Avenue.
You can read through the code for mission names in the screenshot below.
Many of the bosses listed in the code seem to be using helicopters. There are separate entries for bosses that use the word ‘Heli’ and ‘Helicopter’. The reason tthese have been separated is not clear, but it may simply indicate two separate boss helicopter battles.
It also seems these helicopter boss battles have sequences. The entries that use the word ‘Heli’ imply this, as they also use words like ‘Jet Idle’, ‘Jet Hiss’, ‘Main Rotor’, ‘Sec Rotor’ (this may mean secondary rotor), and ‘Wind Rotor’. Subsequently, entries that use the word ‘Helicopter’ also use words ‘EndSeq_Crash’ and ‘EndSeq_Engine’.

Tom Clancy’s The Division will be released on March 8th, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. You can also read a final weapons list and the trophy list.
