Rockstar’s beloved Red Dead Redemption 2 recently celebrated its fourth birthday. The game still holds up incredibly today and could easily be passed off as a 2022 title that was released on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5. Players have hailed it as one of the greatest games to ever grace consoles and PC which made the news that Red Dead Redemption 2 wouldn’t be receiving any major content updates in the future more shocking.
Despite this, players banded together under the banner of #SaveRedDeadOnline earlier this year. Following this players also took to holding an in-game funeral for the multiplayer mode. Even though the title isn’t set to receive any major updates Red Dead Online is set to receive some holiday festivities in the coming month.
Throughout the holiday season Bounty Hunters can receive 3x RDO$, XP, and Gold, for bringing in both Legendary and Infamous bounties dead or alive. For the Bounty Hunters going that extra mile over the holiday season, players who complete three different Legendary Bounties during any week in December will be able to claim a red colorway of the Folwell Hat.
For players not already registered as a bounty hunter in Red Dead Online, you’ll be able to purchase a Bounty Hunter License directly from the Sheriff’s Office in Rhodes.
There are a number of boosted events available up until January 2nd, 2023. These include The Covington Emeral Blood Money Opportunity, A Merry Call To Arms, and other featured series’ which are mentioned below:
