Digitimes is reporting that Apple's next iPad iteration will be ready to ship in early spring.
The report also indicates that the manufacturing of iPad 2s will be reduced by approximately two-thirds beginning in the first quarter of 2012 as iPad 3 manufacturing begins for a March or April release; shipment numbers for iPad 2 will also fall to 4-5 million from 14-15 million units by the first quarter of 2012.
Rumors are stating that the next-gen iPad will have a 2048×1536 resolution screen, which is four-times the pixel amount in the iPad 2. In additional rumors include that the iPad 3 will have an A6 processor, Siri integration, be slightly thicker, and may even have a stereoscopic 3D screen.
I'm holding out for the iPad 8, personally.
