Epic Games has announced an all new interllectual property that's absolutely nothing like anything they've ever done before. It's neither a first person shooter nor an action game with space marines.
The game is called Fortnite, and it combines the likes of Minecraft with tower defense, horror, and a whole lot of Toy Story-esque animation.
Epic Games describes Fortnite as an "expansive original world that invites players to be creative, resourceful and collaborative by day and defend their prized fortress by night."
Running on Epic's Unreal Engine, it's basically a big budget Minecraft.
