Dark Souls has been a pretty decent hit in both the US as well as Japan. Earlier this month a patch was announced for the game that sets out to fix many of the small problems people had with the game. Some of the problems it will be correcting include more responsive lock-ons, more items in merchant’s inventory, no need to use the soapstone to rate player messages, cleaned-up text and improved item drop rates.
Dark Souls 1.05 launched in Japan a while back and is now online for Xbox 360 as well as Playstation 3. This is pretty great news for Dark Souls players as well as the crowd that will be sure to be getting it for Christmas next month. I personally have not played Dark Souls or Demon Souls, but I am very interested in them.
