It looks like the Internet detective agency is at it again. According to IMDB.com, actor Ned Luke will star as Albert De Silva in Grand Theft Auto V.
Someone on the GTA Forums started the Ned Luke rumor on Thursday, followed by a tweet from actor Jimmy Taenaka, which only added fuel to the fire:
"@jimmytaenaka: Grand Theft Auto V trailer with Ned Luke our homey as the LEAD!"
Now the IMDB's GTA 5 page lists Ned Luke as the star of the game, and Luke's own IMDB page lists him as playing the voice-role of Albert De Silva, the game's protangonist. IMDB has been wrong in the past, but it's looking more and more likely that these rumors are true.
The Fifty-three-year-old has played only minor roles in his Television career, so if the rumors turn out to be true, it will be nice to see him get such a high-proile role in the gaming industry. It could be the start of a new career for Ned Luke.
