The creator of Katamari Damacy, Keita Takahashi, may not be with Namco Bandai anymore, but that hasn't stopped the company from updating the franchise with new iterations.
The latest upcoming title in the series, Katamari Damacy Vita, is slated for release on Sony's PS Vita and comes with a whole bunch of new features that make use of the handheld console's touchpad. Using the touchpad, players can stretch and squash the ball into various different shapes and sizes to overcome the new puzzles.
A couple of new promotional videos of Katamari Damacy Vita show off the game's new features and colorful levels.
Katamari Damacy Vita is set for a late 2011 release in Japan, and is slated as one of the PS Vita's launch titles.
