Rock Band 4 DLC Feb 8
Rock Band 4 has love on the mind this week in their DLC update, going with a hard Valentine’s theme for the upcoming holiday. There are several songs available covering a wide array of romantic emotions associated relationships, from the warmth of nostalgia and long term commitment with Still The One by Orleans, to the break up phase with Love Stinks by J. Geils Band and I Hate Myself For Loving You by Joan Jett and the Black Hearts, the joys of self love with Dancing With Myself by Generation X, the pure bliss of true affection in Treasure, and the pure bliss of true lust with Locked Out Of Heaven, both by Bruno Mars. You can also pick up the funky declarations of devotion with Speed Fighter, a track by game designer, musician, and PaRappa The Rapper creator Masaya Matsuura. As usual, all tracks are $1.99 and will debut on Harmonix’s regular DLC release schedule, tomorrow on Tuesday.

Recently Rock Band 4 was also the recipient of a full update, one that wiped out the leaderboards to get a “fresh start”. Several bugs were removed from the game, including a few that were artificially inflating scores. Issues that were causing game crashes were also repaired, as well as a random odd assortment of problems like localization and translation errors.  For a complete list of patch notes, check out the post over at the Rock Band 4 Harmonix blog.
