The hype for Tom Hiddleston’s return as Loki in season 2 has been through the roof. It has now been confirmed after San Diego Comic-Con that the second season will be releasing Summer 2023. The series will follow Loki has he tries to solve the mysteries of the Time Variance Authority and hopefully earn back his freedom after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Tom Hiddleston will be returning as Loki, but the cast will also include Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Owen Wilson, Wunmi Mosaku, Sasha Lane, Sophia Di Martino, Jack Veal, Richard E. Grant, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, DeObia Oparei and Jonathan Majors. Season 1 of Loki premiered largely to critics and audiences and earned itself many favorable reviews and hit ratings for Disney+ which got it signed on for its Season 2 renewal before the first season even ended. Many of us just long for the same fact for shows like Ms. Marvel or Moon Knight.
After the announcement at the Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel revealed Loki season 2 is set for a summer 2023 release date. This will put it two years after the first season. Filming is underway for Loki season 2 already.
We don’t know much more but the release date for Loki season 2, but the hype for it is already through the roof and we are excited to see it on Disney+. in 2023.
