Dark Souls probably isn’t doing your confidence as a gamer any favors. From Software’s latest effort has already developed a reputation as a brutally punishing experience harkening back to the days of "Nintendo hard." Still, you could at least take solace in the fact that everyone is just as bad at it as you are. Or rather, you could until now.
Japanese speedrunner twilightRTA has posted a video of him beating Dark Souls' main quest in a confidence-breaking one hour and twenty-six minutes. That's mind-blowing, considering it takes me about that long to get past the game's main menu. It's even more absurd when you realize that Dark Souls is an RPG, meaining twlight still had to manage his character progression and loot to have any shot at surviving the game's later segements.

Be warned, though: seeing someone play through the entire game brings it fair share of spoilers, even when things are going too fast for you to tell exactly what's going on.
