Surprise surprise! Relic Entertainment, the developers behind Company of Heroes 3 are set to announce something unexpected within the next 6 Hours. Other than that we don’t have much information to go by other than a desert environment teased in the attached video.
Could this be the announcement of Afrikakorps? Judging by the pyramids in the background of the header and the dessert environment, this could very well be the case. Afrikakorps was a German expansion of the Third Reich into Northern Africa. which lasted for 3 years.
Relic Entertainment are undergoing a very unique development cycle. The devs describe the process as being a co-development process between the staff and the fans of the game. They apparently recruited a team of ten players from around the world to help with the process and then later grew the community and sought feedback from it to help shape the game.Â
Company of Heroes 3 is set to release sometime this year for PC.
