Anyone who has ever played Goat Simulator has found that it’s enjoyable, but could really use a few more rocket-powered cars smashing into large soccer balls to make the simulation more realistic. Developer Coffee Stain Studios, with a little help from Rocket League developer Psyonix, have made this a reality.
Coffee Stain has added a Rocket-league like arena to the game, complete with cars, goals, and the ball itself. Assets were provided by Psyonix. One of the Goat Simulator designers Armin Ibrisagic Tweeted the studio’s reasons for adding this update:
You can now play Rocket League in Goat Simulator: PAYDAY because why the hell not ADD ALL THE GAMES pls dont sue pic.twitter.com/FclRjzN4so

Speaking with GameSpot, Ibrisagic explained how this wonderful update came to fruition.
“Basically, we had a programmer who thought it would be really fun to program an AI for cars that was very similar to the AI used in Rocket League. Once the AI was done, we got in touch with the peeps behind Rocket League, they sent some assets over to us, and we patched it into the latest Payday DLC. If you own the DLC, you can find a Rocket League arena in the desert outside the 'Payday city.'”
He very succinctly added, “We just did it for the lulz.”
While Coffee Stain may have done this just for fun, wouldn’t it be even better if they sent some goat assets over to Psyonix, so that Rocket League players could bash that soccer ball around as cavorting goats instead of fast cars? While the newest DLC seems cool, this would be the ultimate addition to one of 2015's greatest success stories.
A fan can dream.
