The latest Sims 4 DLC pack looks like a lot of fun. Movie Hangout Stuff, which drops January 12, allows you to set up a projector, make popcorn, and invite other Sims over to watch movies. Sims producer Graham Nardone clarified on Twitter that Movie Hangout Stuff isn’t intended to be a dedicated game event.
Nardone also explained that Sims can interact during the movie by shushing each other for talking or laughing during serious moments. There are ten in-game movies that Sims can watch, and according to Nardone, they tell complete stories from start to finish so someone will have to let us know how entertaining those are (but don’t worry; an hour and a half in Sim time is only two minutes in human time).
