The Oculus Team has revealed Oculus Touch has been delayed to the second half of 2016.
If there are any issues in production or development, Oculus Team hasn’t mentioned it. Instead, they cite the need to implement improvements to ergonomics and hand pose recognition.
They will also use the extra time to ensure more Oculus Touch units will get manufactured prior to release. The Oculus Rift will get a substantial update at the time Touch releases, so Oculus is demonstrating they are doing everything to make it worth the wait.
Oculus Rift is still on schedule for Q1, and preorders will be opened up soon. Will you wait out the Oculus Touch, or rush to get your hands on an Oculus Rift headset as soon as you can? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
