Following Sony's announcement of its partnership with Hideo Kojima yesterday, it seems the legendary developer's newly formed studio may be making movies in addition to video games in future.
The new Kojima Productions may explore other forms of digital content, Kojima revealed in an interview with IGN. "Once we have an established IP in games, something solid that satisfies people, then we can consider movies and videos," he said.
Given Kojima's long time passion for movies, it's no surprise that he'd want to make films of his own. Read IGN's full interview for more information on Kojima Productions' current and future plans.
Kojima's former employer Konami meanwhile has outlined its plans for Metal Gear Solid and posted new job listings for the series.
