Nintendo has shared a sweet new trailer for Splatoon and its final stages. The stages seem to have an interesting theme to them too; construction facilities.
Ancho-V Games seems to be an outdoor obstacle course in the vein of Wipeout. Actually, it looks like many parts of the course were repurposed from some manufacturing facilities. What this means, aside from different elevated parts, is treadmills. Lots and lots of fun treadmills. These courses are located in floating islands, so be careful not to fall off.
On the other hand, Piranha Pit seems more like an indoor construction facility. Industrial fans, desks, papers and office chairs litter the map. Once again, however, it doesn’t look like there’s anyone working, and everything has been left behind for the Inklings to play around in. The elevations on this map seem to give it a labyrinthine feel, as you will need to splat several levels up to move from place to place.
Nintendo’s introduction trailer for these maps must be the flashiest one they’ve made yet. Expect a lot of K-pop style dancing as you watch it above.
