Uncharted 3 will see intrepid explorer Nathan Drake crash into the desert aboard an airplane. Escaping from the wreckage, the protagonist makes his way across the dunes only to discover the ruins of an ancient city–a ghost town.
Having little choice but to move on, Nathan Drake climbs his way into the ruins and, in search of water, jumps into a well only to discover that the water is undrinkable. As Drake continues his search through the ruins, he discovers the band of mercenaries–Marlo’s men–who were seeking his death in the first place. He must fight in hand to hand combat, get a gun, and take out the bad guys in typical Nathan Drake style. New to the series is melee combat that looks and feels better than ever, with combo attacks and contextual moves.
Viewers should note the 60FPS graphics, fluid despite the game’s gorgeous detail.
Uncharted 3 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and will be released on November 1, 2011.
