Fans are not happy with the latest Destiny update. Not only does it abound with glitches, but there’s an open exploit that is making paying customers cry foul.
The exploit involves the Sparrow Racing League Record Book, which you buy for about $ 10, to earn the achievements playing Sparrow Racing League. In theory, you need to buy the book so that those achievements are counted and accrue you rewards. In reality, you could earn the achievements and open the record book’s preview screen to get the credit.
There are other issues too, and as this thread points out, Bungie has not made it easy for fans with how they’ve mixed up their patch notes. As an example, where the notes previously stated this:
Low RoF (Suros Regime, An Answering Chord): 3.0% increase from previous base damage
They have now been updated to state this:
Low RoF (Suros Regime, An Answering Chord): 0.3% increase from previous base damage
Outside of these errors, however, fans have simply found the updates lacking on their own. The actual values changed for the sake of rebalancing aren't materially impactful. Bungie has acknowledged they are aware that these issues exist, but haven’t explained what they would be doing about them yet.
