New footage of Skyward Sword has surfaced, beyond the swordfighting tutorial we posted earlier, and this time it's straight out of Japan. The first trailer is of the game's legends and prophecies, which plays before the start of the game.
We see figures praying to the goddess to deliver them from evil in their hour of need. As a result of their faith, the goddess raises a part of the land into the sky, creating Skyloft—and the Ultimate Power (which is presumably the Triforce) with it.
A second video shows some actual gameplay that takes place in the Faron Woods, where Link must defend some helpless forest creatures against a monster invasion. Viewers should note that one of the forest creatures very much resembles a small Deku Tree.
Last, but not least, is a video taking place within the Sky Temple—Skyward Sword's first dungeon. The temple appears to be located beneath the Faron Woods. Here, Link retrieves the Beetle and does battle against the game's foe Ghirahim for the very first time.
