Remember the hype for Zygarde a few months ago? This Pokemon’s new surprise form has just made another big appearance, and this time we get to see a lot more of it.
Zygarde Perfect Form, also translated as Zygarde Complete Form, is front and center for the new commercial for Pokemon Tretta Ultimate Z. For those of you unfamiliar with it, Pokemon Tretta is an arcade game which requires you buy and use Tretta, special game tiles, to use Pokemon in three on three battles. Pokemon Tretta hasn’t been seen much outside Japan, but is every bit the success in its home country you would expect it to be.
As you can see in the trailer, Zygarde’s Perfect Form may be humanlike but it does not necessarily move like a human. Its arm like appendages do not taper into hands or hand like ends. It also seems to make more use of the snake like appendages that emanate from its back. The trailer also makes it clear Zygarde’s Perfect Form is an evolution from its earlier forms.
You can learn more about Zygarde here, but to make a long story short, Zygarde seems like its positioned, like Xerneas and Yveltal, to have been the star of its own Pokemon game, which could be Pokemon Z. It sounds crazy, only that the new Pokemon anime is actually calledPokemon XY & Z, and the next Pokemon movie is set to star Zygarde and reveal more about its different forms.
