Apple recently held its annual developer conference where the tech giant shoed off the latest products and services. Hosted by the current Apple CEO Tim Cook, the company announced a new M2 Chip, a new MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro as well as a completely new OS for MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches.
Amongst some of the new features for iOS is the native support for both Nintendo Switch Pro and Joy-Con controllers.
Developer Riley Testut was the one who made this discovery while testing the developer version of the iOS. Testut shared his findings on Twitter, along with a screenshot showing the Switch Pro controller appearing in the Bluetooth settings menu of iOS 16.
The update will only be out during fall, so for those of us who don’t have access to the developer version of the upcoming iOS, we’ll have to wait.
