Bungie removed the Vertigo map today due to an exploit.
We're temporarily removing Vertigo from playlists until we can fix the exploit for real.

Users reported on Twitter that the exploit allows players to go above the map and camp in out-of-bounds areas. For an example of what that looks like, check out the below video.
The discovery of this exploit is particularly inconvenient for Destiny players involved in this week's PVP-event, Iron Banner. The exploit has affected other game modes as well, such as Control and Rift, since they have objectives that require players to get on top of the map. Players complained of the exploit earlier this week, but it seems Bungie is finally addressing the problem.
