Developer Fatshark and Games Workshop's "visercal first-person co-op experience" Vermintide, set at the end of the Warhammer fantasy universe, launches later this week on Steam and there's a new trailer looking at the main features of the game.
As the apocalypse takes hold, players choose one of five playable heroes to take on the Skaven Ratmen in the Imperial city of Ubersreik as part of the resistance.
Combat is a key part of the game, with brutal large scale encounters with enemy mobs to small skirmishes using swords, guns, and a range of other weapons – all of which perform unique functions. Player choice is said to have a big impact in terms of the options available to both you and your co-op partners.
A degree of stealth is also possible, with the trailer showing a player sniping an enemy in the forest with a bow.
Vermintide launches Friday, October 23rd and you can find the game's PC specs and other information here. The game is also coming to PS4 and Xbox One in the future.
