SEGA has announced that Yakuza 5 will be released in mid-November, "if all goes according to schedule."
The date is "a little later" than the publisher would've liked and comes about as a result of development bugs which "popped up in the localization" process, according to a post on the SEGA Blog.
These issues were resolved when the developers searched through the source code to discover the cause of the issues, which they say took longer than necessary.
SEGA said it plans on “releasing the game mid-November, if all goes to schedule.”
Yakuza 5 has been available to pre-order on the PS Store for PS3 since August, and it comes with all of the DLC which has been previously released in Japan.
