Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Pre-Order, Console-Specific DLC Revealed

October 13, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

Pre-order bonuses abound.

Pre-order and console-specific DLC for Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition was announced today by developer Larian Studios.

Those who pre-order the game will receive the Last Trick Bag, which includes in-game ingredients that can be used to create the Scales of Steel grenade and the White Dragon wand, the latter of which contains an Ice Wall skill. Those that do not pre-order can still purchase the Last Trick Bag separately.

Additionally, Larian Studios is releasing console-specific DLC for anyone who picks up the game, even after launch. PS4 players will receive the Secret Trick Bag and Xbox One players will receive the Forgotten Trick Bag. The Secret Trick Bag includes ingredients to make the Eye of the Patriarch grenade and the Blue Dragon wand, which has an Invisibility skill. The Forgotten Trick Bag includes ingredients to make the Breaching Fire grenade and the Silver Dragon wand, which has a Teleportation skill.

Divinity: Original Sin was originally released last year on PC following a successful Kickstarter campaign. The Enhanced Edition for PS4 and Xbox One includes split-screen co-op support, new quests, combat-styles, locations, and changes to the crafting system.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition will be released on Oct. 27, 2015 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Those who own Divinity: Original Sin on PC will receive a free update, adding content from the Enhanced Edition. A sequel, Divinity: Original Sin 2, was announced in August and successfully funded on Kickstarter, even making the stretch goal of adding writer Chris Avellone to its team.
